It looks like this site will be officially closed by next month. None of us have actually touched it except to make the random rare update post. And from what I can tell, most of the bandwidth is being sucked up by bastards who are hotlinking pics. I'd get more worked up about it, but the site's shutting down anyway.
Thanks to the few hanger-ons who begged that the GG fics be archived somewhere at least, this is just a reminder that Hilda's fics can be found at fanfiction.net. I admit; even though we would like nothing more than to erase that embarrassing GG phase out of fandom history, I AM a sentimental brat. That being said -- if I get a chance, as I am one hell of a lazy beyotch -- whatever fics I can save off this site MAY EVENTUALLY be archived at Pooh's personal site (h e r e). There won't be anything there for awhile, so save whatever you want now.
It's been greating hanging out with you guys for the past few years. And thanks for visiting. :-)

Ok, so no one get all excited and get your panties in a twist. This isn't an actual update so much as a notice. Our domain expires at the end of October, and the Pooh and I have been talking. Since we've abandoned this site (as evidenced by the date of the last update) this site is only serving as an archive of what once was.
We're debating letting the domain expire and thus the site would fade into the oblivion. As if it were never here in the first place, to live on only in our (distant) memories. However, we thought we'd give our fan(s?) a chance to voice their opinions. We've done a bit of googling and stat checking and based on the number of foreign language sites linking to us, we've reached the conclusion that GG must just now be starting to play overseas.
So before we deprive the burgeoning new generation of GG fans of this magnificent site, we're offering the chance to save it. If you have an opinion, let us know at trifectaly@hotmail.com. If we receive convincing evidence that some people are still out there, we may keep it open. Note that this does not include emails that are written to Chad or consist solely of "ohmygod Chad is sooooo hotttt." We're unashamedly looking for people who are fans of us to give reason why this site should remain.
With that said, I don't wish to give anyone false hope. If you hold your breath waiting for an actual update or a new chapter to some long lost fic, you will die. Because there is no more writing and hasn't been in about 3 years. Barring the apocalypse or some other earth shattering phenomenon, there will be no additions to this site. It will only be preserved in its present glory for the future generations. And we will fade out of your memory and become "remember those 4 crazy chicks who had a website? What show was that for?"
And we will be perfectly content with that.

Thank you to the fan who emailed reminding me that I had yet to post the second (ie, last) part of Taken. So here it is. I know I've stated pretty clearly that it won't be continued, but just the other day, I got out my Awakenings notes and almost had a creative burst. Not enough to make me desperately want to write, but it did give me a mild itch. Sadly, my life's too complicated right now with trying to graduate and find a full-time job, that time for writing will always be sacrificed for more "real" concerns. That's not to say that just because I'm not planning on finishing any WIPs right now, that they won't be finished in the far future -- at least for my own need for closure, even if none of you guys are around anymore. However, this is not a plea for "please continue" feedback emails. Thanks.

**crossing fingers** This is Hilda attempting her first update since we switched domains. About time don't you think. I come bearing gifts. (At least for those of you who never check out fanfiction.net.) I wrote the 8th part to Favors back in April and posted it on ff.net, but since I'm an idiot when it comes to web junk, I didn't know how to put it up here, nor did I want to burden Pooh with the task. But now, after much delay, I present to you Favors Part 8Please hold your applause. And no, Part 9 is in no way underway, nor are there plans to do it any time soon. But there's always hope.

Apparently, one of our major bandwidth offenders insists on hotlinking ALL of our buttons at once. So instead of dealing with the finicky nature of the hotlink protection function of our server, and inadvertently subjecting the innocents - of which I was one of them - to our bandwidth thief redirect graphic, we've decided to take our buttons and banners offline. This will not affect anyone who was CORRECTLY using our buttons since you should have already saved the graphics to your own space. As for anyone else who would still like to use a button.... seriously, it's been two years and we haven't touched this site in forever.... WHY??? Feel free to use a text link or make your own buttons.

Wow. Two consecutive updates. Lucky you. Or maybe not.
We admit we've been really lax monitoring our site, but we had instituted an honor policy regarding our pics, icons, graphics, etc. Guess we were naive to think that EVERYONE practiced proper net etiquette - if you want a graphic to use as a link or avy or whatever... you SAVE the pic to YOUR OWN WEBSPACE and then link back to us. DO NOT HOTLINK! BANDWIDTH STEALING is so not cool.
Because some of you might be guilty of it - "accidentally" or not... and YES, we do know EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE (IPs are such wonderful things, really) - we are giving you a few days to correct your thievery. After this unspecified grace period, any hotlinked picture from the Trifectaly site will be redirected to this lovely picture instead of the picture/bandwidth you are stealing.

It was getting pretty close to a year between updates, so Pooh decided to throw you guys a bone.
She was trying to get rid of old files on her computer and ran into some old WIPs she hasn't touched in... how long has it been since she last watched a GG ep? Oh, yeah. FOREVER. Since she did work hard (ha!) on these unfinished fics, she decided that they might as well get uploaded. Before you start to rejoice - and seriously, ARE there any more of you still visiting this site???? - be forewarned that they may not - "may not" meaning "99.99999% most definitely not" - be finished. EVER. And there you have it.
Right now, the only one she's posting is Taken. Only two parts exist. The second part will probably be posted in a few days (ie, whenever I remember to do it, if I ever remember). Hounding me to finish when I've explicity promised they won't be, will amuse me greatly, but will also be promptly ignored. And that's about it for that.

Due to the actions of certain immature "fan(s)," who have nothing better to do with their time, the tag-board has been released from its miserable existence. Unfortunately, the abuse of the board (and the general lack of Fecta interest in this site) means it is unlikely to return anytime soon.
Fecta Update: Ly is busy in school, and hasn't really been part of the site for almost two years. Meg is busy doing fanart for other shows. Hilda is in the middle of grad school. Pooh is currently working part-time and finishing graduate school. She does have a tiny part of a fic written, which will probably never be finished, and most likely won't be uploaded due to the distasteful events of the past few days.
None of us have time to spend on this site anymore, and even if we did, the truth is that we probably wouldn't even bother. Short of Tristan returning to GG, this site will probably stay dormant, but remain online for posterity's sake. Keeping this site up and running is not cheap, but we continue to pay so those who appreciate the time and effort we had spent on the site and on our fics, may continue to do so. The Fectas, however, have all moved on to other things. AND better TV shows. We ask that you do the same. The only thing we ask in return is to respect our decision to step back from this site. Of course, we also reserve the right to update, if any motivation/inspiration miraculously occurs.

Okay, not all of you, but those who seriously need to be smacked know who they are. Shame. Shame. The following is a message from Hilda:

If you continue to abuse the Tag Board it will be taken down. Apparently some visitors have thought it would be humorous to impersonate Hilda and say vulgar and insulting remarks. For those of you who know Hilda and the other Fectas, you know that we can be sarcastic, but we are not insulting. And there is a line that even we do not cross. The way the Tag Board is set up, anyone can post under any name they want to. We thought that the people who came here were mature enough to handle this. We may have been mistaken. We apologize if anyone was offended by the statements, and if it happens again, the board will be taken down. The board, and this site in general are meant for the enjoyment of others. We understand that you want updates, but you must understand that we don't have time right now. And if you can't live with that, then stop coming here. Don't ruin it for everyone else because you want to be immature and petty. To the rest of you who still enjoy parts of this site, please continue to look around and we will do our best to maintain this as the site you know and love.
And a note to the impersonator(s): we use proper grammar and spelling. The word is "whore" not "hoar". Get a dictionary.
I, Pooh, have to admit that I barely visit this site anymore, so this is the first time I've heard about this abuse. I'm shocked, appalled, and disappointed. Whoever is doing it: Grow the fuck up.
Now that we have our own site, the interface is way different than our old Geocities page. Because of this, and because of our increasing responsibilities in the Real World, we don't have much time to update this site. Not that we have much to update with anyway. Oh, wait. We did win some awards. Bah.

A new "update" or the new year. Yeesh. This is a lot harder to do without geocrappy's easy user interface. Oh well. We hope everyone had a great holidays.
And lookie...after we specifically told you guys to quit it, we got nom'ed for some GG Fanfic Awards. Um... yeah, we know who you are (niiiiice, babe :P ) but we only have old fics, and it's wrong to take someone else's nomination place with those. Besides...how did "Naughty" get a Best Trory fic nom? *scratches head*
Now...a serious note:
Thanks to one of our FectaFans, Kristen, it came to our attention that someone had blatantly ripped off Pooh's "Birthday Rituals" fic. The outpouring of support was wonderfully surprising, and much appreciated. We don't know what goes through the minds of people dumb enough to think they could get away with it. True, Pooh holds a special place of abhorrence for FF.net, and quite possibly, he/she thought they could get away with it, thinking Pooh doesn't visit that special place of CrapFics. It was still no excuse. And to all of you who "reviewed" and reported the plagarism to the proper people, we thank you. Your "reviews" were especially snarky and hilarious, and does us Fectas proud. :D
Pooh herself lhao when she first heard, then became angry, and then lhao again. She cannot believe why anyone would want to take that particular fic. Are people so hard up on Trory fics that they find it necessary to recycle (someone else's) old fics? If he/she wanted to post it on Pooh's behalf (as Hilda attempted to do with "Catharsis"), Pooh miiiiiiight have given permission with the correct credits. Ok, who we kidding? It would never have happened. Pooh considered flaming the tard in her reviews (in fact, already started mental composition of a snarky reply as soon as she heard), but decided that it would be too tacky and a waste of time to even bother. Thank you to all who took the mission upon yourselves for her instead. The only thing she was really pissed about were the disappearance of her beautiful, wonderful, poor poor paragraph breaks. Oy. Sadness!
While hilarious, we suppose that perhaps all this support deserves a little something. And as soon as Hilda can get her ass moving, I'm sure she'll try to write for you guys. Heh. Bwahahaha!

New site is up!!
There's a bunch of problems still since we're using frames now. The top graphic is also messed up. Notice that the image map does not work. Not sure if we'll be fixing all the problems since not even the Fectas really visit this site too often.
If there's anything glaringly obvious in it's crappiness (other than the fics and the banner), please let us know. We've learned our lessons
from the last site regarding feedback. We get it. You guys don't give it. That's fine by us. And just in case you do decide to let us know what you think of us...
we've got email, a guestbook, and even a tag. Don't hold back.
There probably won't be too many updates around here, but two Fectas now have blogs. Feel free to visit Meg and Pooh.
