I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. Ok, so that's not entirely true. I know I'm coming back on Monday. Yes, it's true. In less than 12 hours, the second Fecta trip officially begins. (FYI, the first was when the Twins visited Seattle in October. Der.) This time we're adding Meg to the mix and hitting the big apple. NYC here we come. So I'm just giving you a heads up. Don't expect any updates for at least a week. We'll all be too busy to find a computer. Alright. Time to get up on my high horse and sound conceited for a bit. Twin start rolling eyes now. (But know that Megg was encouraging me) I've been surfing around and I found a couple of awards sites for GG sites. So, being the interested person that I am, I checked out their lists of nominees. And as much as you all profess to love us (lies), I didn't see us up for a single award. Come on. There has to be an award out there somewhere for "best site still obsessing over a character no longer on the show". Somewhere. Now some of you may say you were unaware that such sites exist. Be forewarned that ignorance is not a valid excuse under the law. So just keep that in mind when you all start begging for fics...(which maybe I should take into account means that you're all mentally ill). We need motivation. (Basically something to laugh at and get us in a jovial mood because we know we don't deserve any of those awards. So seeing us nominated would be a hoot.) But maybe I am expecting too much from a group who won't sign the guestbook or send us emails. (rolleyes) Sidenote: Megg says I should add something to let you all know that I was joking, since my sarcastic humor tends to fall on deaf ears. Pooh's busy getting screwed (by her hotties? she wishes!) over by her school and her thesis work, and she can't seem to reconnect with either of her unfinished works of CrappyFic. What's new? Absolutely nothing. Are you shocked? The Fectas have been engrossed in the Olympics lately, and while we're proud to be Americans, some of us are lusting after Canadian men. They sure know how to grow them up there. Also, the Fectas, or 3/4 of them are having a special operation in less than a month. We won't tell you where to, or what for, because it has absolutely nothing to do with HA. And of course, we don't want you stalking us. Rolling eyes. But hopefully we'll have much to share upon our return. (I for one am hoping I survive this trip and don't die of Darcy boredom. Though I have a feeling I'll be strapped to a bed somewhere and forced to watch P and P before the weekend is over. Hmm... bed... straps... wonder if my Canadian boys are free that weekend....)

As many of you know from our series of non-update updates, the Fectas are currently revamping this site. New layout, new colors, same old Hotass. Now is the time for your input. We'd like to know what you want to see on the 'new and improved' TrifectaLy website. Some of you have suggested having more pictures, and last I knew, Ly was working on gathering some. Also, we will be switching hosts and doubling our bandwidth so that more people can visit. What that means is the Fectas love you so much that we're willing to pay for a site just to keep you satisfied. I'm still wondering what possessed us to think you deserve that. As of right now, we're all ears to what you have to say. Meg is busy making all sorts of new graphics. As talented as she is, that takes time. And we're all continuing to learn the intricacies of the html world. That being said, keep your eyes peeled and feel free to Fondle the HA to enlighten us with your suggestions for keeping this site unique. And for those of you with witty ideas such as "three times as much fic"... save it. I laugh. Oh, before I go, Pooh was checking out our stats the other day and ran across a few, shall we say, interesting things. For each page, we can find out what search term people use the most frequently to find our site. Tsk tsk. What dirty minds some of you have. Ah, promises, promises. Before you all threaten to kill me, yes I did write. It's just not up to par of what I consider a true part. I had all the intentions, but my body has not been cooperating. It has chosen today to start again with the headaches, and so far no migraine med kicking in. So I sit and squint at my computer screen, half the words blurring into each other. But to keep up at least some of my promise, I'm going to post a couple of paragraphs of the next part, just to keep you sated. It's not much and it is open to be changed/edited during my final review. But hopefully this will keep you all from storming to the email and threatening to end my life. Enjoy. Also let me preface with this is his POV so it somewhat overlaps hers. Don't be confused.
The clicking of metal on metal echoed through the dimly lit room as the latch caught in its proper place on the doorframe. Her footsteps on the hall carpet created indentations of darkness to the light passing under his door. Muffled footsteps faded as the disturbances in the light pattern lessened, and finally disappeared. In seconds all was quiet and the light shown under the door as clearly as it had before she ever disrupted its path. Silence encompassed the room, broken up only by the erratic, shallow breathing of the man sitting in amidst the quiet. And just like that, she was gone. Staring at wooden barrier less than ten feet across the room, his eyes glazed over as the reality of her leaving struck him in a direct blow. His mind reeled with thoughts of the distance she was creating between them. Running away from the progress they had made to overcome the separation. A gap created during the first meeting, crossed by their fragile friendship, and finally closed by some sheer will of fate hours before. And now she was widening that expanse, instilling fear that the damage done this time would be irreparable.
And that's all she wrote. Well not really, but that's all you get for now.

So. I've been sitting here, Mudd mask on my face, watching SNL, and pondering the meaning of life. In other words, I'm bored out of my mind. And what else is new? But anyway, some of you will be glad to know, I've been plugging away at the second part of The Morning After and have promised myself that come hell or high water, it will be posted within the next 24 hours. Mind you, that making that promise means it will most likely come unedited, and completely sappy and bogged down with big words. I've got that last part down pat. So, I just figured it was time to update again. And for those of you who read Meg's last update, we have started to overhaul the site. New format, new pictures, same old Fectas. And we're actually going to move to a site without annoying pop-up ads, and larger bandwidth so that we stop getting those 'page is unavailable' messages. (Yes, the Fectas get them as well, so when we're overloaded, we can't edit the site either.) So keep your eyes out for big changes. Trust us, you'll like what you see. More nekkidness. More HA. More corruption. So keep checking back and we hope you like what we're taking on.

Hello all! This is Meg here. Talk about a long time! Whoo, it's been ages. Anyway I come bearing fic! A ficlet to be precise. A very small, very sucky, poorly ending ficlet. I know you're all jumping for joy. (Insert sarcasm here.) I wrote it a long ass time ago after reading Pooh's ending to Catharsis but neve posted it because it's technically not finished. But since then I've decided it will never ever be finished so I might as well post it. Plus it's been a while since we've given you a fic and I figured I'd help out. Okay, enough ramblng, here it is: One Last Time. Do with it what you will. Be sure to fondle the Hotass - with that nasty of an ending I'll be expecting some big flames. Or nothing at all. Either way, whatevs. Also, while I'm here I just wanted to address the horrible graphics situation that has befallen our site in the past few months. All the little "Fotki"'s you keep seeing all over the place - that's all my fault. I have to find a new place to upload the graphics that doesn't make them all blurry and then actually upload them and fix them all....so it may be a while until everything's back in order. In the mean time, have fun clicking on them and seeing where they lead. :-D At some point I'd like to actually make a whole new layout. It's been so long with this one I think it's time for a change. Happy Elvis' Birthday everyone. Not really a big Elvis fan, just happened to have a high school friend with the same birthday. I'd wish her Happy Birthday but she's married and has a life and better things to do than hover on this site. Anyway... I was bored tonight, imagine that. And without Meg, or Pooh, or even Ly to keep me company for longer than 3 minutes at a time, I decided to do some reading. (Heh. For those of you who thought I would say writing, please stay tuned to the end of this update.) And who better to read from than the Master herself. Only deciding what Pooh fics to read can be the big problem. So I would like to offer up a recommendation. I just finished rereading href="http://www.geocities.com/trifectaly/fic/secondimpressions.html">Second Impressions and have decided that it is my goal to get her to finish that. It's times like these I realize the extent of my twin envy. And besides, there can only be one ficlet writer so she must elaborate on that. Yeah, Yeah, so I know she's trying to graduate and get a job. But hey, multitasking is a skill that will come in handy in the future. As far as my writing endeavors... I must say, the other day I was rereading some things hoping to get some inspiration for: continuation, and I must say, what drugs was I on when I wrote 3:47? Whoa that's bad stuff. Moving on. I'm precariously close to making a decisive move towards grad school. What that means is no more queasy stomach and stalling as I try to prolong the application process. Translation: I should have more time to write once this is all taken care of. And for the bad news, or shall I say better...hmmm.... Favors is staring at a black hole. The few responses we do get often ask about the progession of Favors and Awakenings. While I can't speak for Pooh (actually I can, she just doesn't like it when I do so because I raving about how great she is) I have intentions but the story is lacking. I know I've said this before and you're tired of hearing it, but really and truly, in the space that should be occupied by Favors storyline is a vast hole in my brain. I'm hoping inspiration will be a 2 x 4 and knock me over the head. So I apologize to leave you hanging, but I can't bring myself to put words on paper with no deeper meaning. What am I saying, I have read my own stuff and boy can it be meaningless. And now that I've rambled for the better part of 15 minutes, I believe it's time I get some sleep. If you're sick of these non-update updates, please join me in begging Pooh, Meg, and Ly to come back so they don't leave me all alone. And let's hope Pooh is nice to me even though I'm propogating her writing again. :) (I'm trying to edit right now, and I saw a word in here missing and r but now I can't find it. Wow, typing out that year just seems wrong. And now, for the first update of the year.... It's not what you are expecting. Is it ever? In the interest of more interaction with the Fectas, I have taken it upon myself to set up an AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) account for us. So now, you can chat with the Fectas. Ok, you can chat with one of us at a time since only one can be signed on. But still, it's better than nothing right. Yet, without the other Fectas not knowing about this, I have a fear that I'm going to be the only one venturing onto this... We shall see. (Sidenote: One of my New Year's resolutions is to update the features we have let slide. Hopefully that will come about soon.) Anyway, our screenname is TrifectaLy, imagine that. And yes, it is case sensitive, which means be sure to put the capital letters in where they belong. If you don't have AIM, crawl out from under that rock where you've been hiding and check it out. Okay, so we gripe and moan a lot about everyone neglecting our email/guestbook. But can you blame us? I'm just surfing around and checking our stats and find that 93 people have visited this update page just today. And yet, we rarely hear from anyone. It appears from the numbers (based on how many people have viewed each fic) that about 300 people visit this site. And we maybe hear from 5 or 6. Not per fic, but ever. Do you fear that we're going to make fun of you? Oh, well we proabably will but just not to your face. I'm kidding of course. I think some people are afraid we're going to sell your email address to the black market. Rest assured, that's not going to happen either. We're just 4 gals desparate for a little attention. (Translation: We have no lives and check our email a dozen times a day.) I checked earlier and the entire time we have had this site, we have received 104 emails. Now that doesn't include the viruses we delete, but it does include some of the "member updates" we get from Hotmail, or the site that hosts our quiz, as well as emails we have sent to each other and second timers. So since June that's the best you can do. Rest assured, we won't hold it against you. Even though you don't deserve it, we'll continue to run this site and update as we can. And now that I've completed my rant, be advised that updates will be scarce over the next few weeks. We all have our holidays to attend to and Pooh and Ly are struggling through their finals while Meg and I try to make some money at our jobs. So bear with us and hopefully we will have something new for you soon.

We have become aware of a situation affecting this site, and decided to bring it to the attention of our faithful. Please, enough professionalism. Geocities has emailed us (at least someone knows how to fondle the HA) to tell us we have too many people visiting the site and apparently they occasionally have to shut us down for exceeding the number of hits allowed for a free site. Which leads us to a couple of questions. 1) What the hell are you all doing visiting our site so much since we hadn't updated in forever? And 2) Why is our inbox still empty? We're not quite sure what this all means at this point but hope to get it all straightened out in the near future. It seems the Fectas give and give and give, and yet get nothing in return. We figured up the percentages and about .03% of the people who read the fics send feedback. We need to feel loved. Our inbox is rather lonely and our inspiration is waning. And we're taking your quiz answers into account. Favors part 5 is on the way, just give me time to perfect the suckiness of it. Okay, we know it's been awhile (awhile????), but after the Operation got cancelled, we kind of just slacked off a bit.
Well, to make it up to you, one of us has actually dragged her butt back to the computer and finished another part of a fic. Yes, we know. In light of the recent tragedy in NYC, that in fact has affected the whole nation, the Fectas have decided to postpone the Operation. We believe it is neither appropriate nor feasable to carry out such a trip at this time. While we are disappointed in our change of plans, our temporary sadness pales in comparison to the terror of thousands of family members of the victims. While this is a postponement, the trip is not all together cancelled. In a while we will begin to reschedule and the trip will most likely take place in the spring. We will keep you informed of our plans but at this time our hearts and thoughts are with the nation, just as they should be.

Ok, this is a lame update, but I'm updating to say we have no updates. And if you're still reading at this point, I'm impressed. Actually, Tease will be putting up the next 4 tips on the href="http://www.geocities.com/trifectaly/extras/tips.html">TrifectaLy Travel Tips page tomorrow. As many of you know, her 21st birthday was this weekend, and she was, shall we say, out of commision for a while. We just wanted to let you know, that (1), href="http://www.geocities.com/trifectaly/operation.html">Operation Hotass is nearing and plans are being finalized and (2), we didn't forget about you. More updates are on the way. Pooh and Hilda are feverishly working on their fics and a few more ideas have been tossed about. Hopefully all will return to normal upon completion of Operation Hotass. For those of you who don't know, we depart on Friday Sept 14. (Yes, this is not a joke, we are really doing this and will have pics to prove). Until then, please keep checking back. Yet another update for our adoring fans. (Pooh: insert *rolleyes* here.) The Instagator and Invitee #3 (April) have been at it again! And thanks to all their hard work and dedication through this disgusting week they still managed to produce yet another classic. The second in their swoon-worthy and breath taking series, all I can say is one word - Kleenex! A separate, but "possible" continuation (did that make sense?) to Catharsis... href="http://www.geocities.com/trifectaly/fic/addendum.html">Catharsis: Addendum... and a semi-autobio-fic from The Corruptor... href="http://www.geocities.com/trifectaly/fic/pooh_warning.html">Pooh's Therapy Session. Both were written during a really bad time in The Corruptor's life (yeah, pretty sad... HA would have made her feel better, but it was HA that was causing her pain... sigh. DER). They're both a little "spoilerish" so be warned, and enjoy.
